Halloween Hauntings!

This years Halloween was great! We went a couple weeks ago to the zoo where they had a "Pumpkin Prowl." The paths were lined with hundreds of jack-o-lanterns carved in all sorts of grand designs, including Elvis. They also had trick-or-treating stops along the way so we were able to come away with a bag full of treats. There was a large, mechanical tree that was a little too scary for Kenley, but other than that we had fun. We went with friends, but none of us brought cameras so you will have to use your imaginations to picture Kenley, in her first costume of the season, as a princess/ballerina. So beautiful.

When we discussed what she wanted to be for Halloween this year, she couldn't decide between a princess and a "ditch." It turns out a "ditch" is a "witch." So we found a cute witch costume for her which she wore as we went trick-or-treating downtown. They close the main street here on Bainbridge and all the shops along it give out treats. It is lots of fun to see the hundreds of people and all their costumes. You usually see everyone you know and so thats lots of fun. Here are pictures from our Halloween adventures:
