For those of you who don't know, we have been in the process of trying to build a house for the past 2 years. After many different setbacks, construction actually began a couple months ago with clearing the lot and putting in the road and utilities. We are putting in a modular home which means the main part of the house is built in a factory to custom, stick built specifications and codes. Which works well for the rainy weather here in the Seattle area. The factory is over by Cour-d'Alene, Idaho and when mom and dad were over there this past weekend, they were able to visit the house. Here are some pictures of the house which is ready to ship and just waiting for the foundation and first floor to be built here onsite.
Back of the house. The roof and upper floor are folded
down to be put up when the pieces are joined together.
It's wrapped to ship so they couldn't see inside.
